Heavy ivory head of a baby Jesus figure with glass eyes. The weight of the item is 3lbs 12.6 oz (1715 gr). This carving is original from the early 19th Century. Since the pictures, the top of the head has been restored with water based paint. From the pattern of the cross section this appears to be elephant ivory.
