Abel Jimenez (1955 - )

Born in Oaxaca, Mexico in 1955, Abel Jimenez is considered by many critics to be one of the best hyperrealist painters in Latin America today. He has won countless awards and distinctions in Mexico and abroad. His work has been exhibited internationally since 1976 and is part of important private collections in Amsterdam, Munich, Paris, Sao Paolo, Milan, Florence, Madrid, Barcelona, Tokio, Warsaw, Bogota, Ottawa, London, San Juan, Zurich, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., New York, Monterrey and Mexico City.
