Carlos Humberto Ramirez Lara (1979 - )

Born in Monterrey, NL, Mexico on June 16, 1979. Humberto Ramirez started studying art at the age of 12. His work is a mixture between surrealism and cubism forming a unique style. His work has been exhibited in galleries across Mexico, Eastern Europe and the US. Ramirez gathers inspiration for his work from philosophy and psychoanalysis influenced by his favorite writers like Jean Paul Sartre, Sigmund Freud and Fredric Nietzsche. He studied architecture and some of his works evoke the lines and proportions of classical and modern tendencies. He has worked as a professor at the CEDIM art and design institute and currently lives and works in his studio in Reynosa Tamaulipas.
